This past week
our Graduating Princial Mr. Clay has passed away.
We share our thoughts and cares with his Family

Mr. Clay was a teacher at Springfield
Township High School in Oreland, Pa. and a teacher,
department chair, assistant principal, and principal
at Lower Moreland High School in Huntingdon Valley,
Pa. He served as a teacher and principal of the
Upper School at an independent school in Tinton
Falls, N.J. and as the Corporate Director of Education
of a proprietary school in Voorhees, N.J. Mr. Clay
was a consultant for the Middle Stated Association
of Colleges and Schools and for The College Board.
Mr. Clay retired in 2000.
Mr. Clay was awarded the Valley
Forge Teacher's Medal from the Freedoms Foundation
at Valley Forge in 1971 and the Teacher of the Year
Award from Lower Moreland High School in 1972. In
1999, he was inducted into the Lower Moreland High
School Hall of Fame.
A memorial Service will be held
at St. Paul's Lutheran Church 301 North Main Street,
Doylestown, November 5, 2006 at 2 p.m. Interment
is private under the direction of Reed and Steinbach
Funeral Home of Doylestown.
In lieu of flowers, a contribution
may be made in Mr. Clay's name to St. Paul's Lutheran
Church Memorial Fund, 301 North Main, Doylestown,
Pa. 18901 or to Fox Chase Cancer Center, 333 Cottman
Ave., Philadelphia, Pa. 19111.
